ooooooh fun… I’ll tell you we had a blast. This is a relatively quick detailed look at a living and dining room we’ve just completed for my friend and client Amy Phillips. It was the first interior endeavor for SWOON, the studio and it was tons of fun. Amy and I have known each other and worked together for several years. When she and I first talked about her house she stressed how important it was that it was modern and not cluttered but super comfortable and livable. That’s more of a challenge than you might realize. It’s one thing to make it look pretty but comfy? We tested out cozy perfection from sofas to dining chairs and kept it all pretty darn reasonable – which is so important to me. I love a good deal. She was happy and so was I. Bask in the glow of comfortable luxury.

big news! If you haven’t noticed the huge signs around town for the All-Star Game then open your eyes…they are HUGE and they are everywhere. From what we here celebrities are pouring in this weekend and there will be lots of parties and excitement. We were thrilled to produce the suite menu for the event through Cowboys Stadium.

and what a celebration it was… This fall one of our clients had all eyes on Dallas. The AT&T Performing Arts Center had a week long Grand Opening celebration with the dedication, architectural forums, parties, a gorgeous gala and finally a hugely successful public Spotlight Sunday where roughly 50,000 people descended on to the Arts District of Dallas. It was a perfect kickoff to these new Dallas landmarks. Read the posts on style/SWOON here and here.
