Yes, you heard it right. Behind the incredibly cheeky writing and ingeniously industrial package design lies something far bigger than the store itself — the 826 program, a series of non-profit after-school creative writing centers for students, ages 6–18, organized by Dave Eggers. The “storefront” concept extends across a few genres, each with its own concisely-executed tounge-in-cheek brand.
