SAMANTHA REITMAYER FORMS SWOON, the studio
DALLAS (October 26, 2009) — Style and luxury guru, Samantha Reitmayer, formerly of Rovillo + Reitmayer, has announced the formation of SWOON, the studio. In this capacity, Reitmayer will further develop her niche of style and luxury branding. Reitmayer acted as creative director at R+R for the past nine years and her work set new standards of splendor for those with an appreciation for design and quality.
Through experimental materials and notable projects Ms. Reitmayer has become one of the most well respected designers in the Southwest. There is great momentum from two clients in particular who just celebrated two of the most historic grand openings in Dallas’ history, the new Cowboys Stadium and the AT&TPerforming Arts Center. Other notable clients include the George W. Bush Library, One Arts Plaza, Baylor Health Care Foundation, SMU, North Texas Super Bowl and Neiman Marcus.
In June, Reitmayer created a blog, style/SWOON based around her other passions including interiors, food and people. The success of the blog has been tremendous with 10,000 visitors a month. As a result of writing the blog and her love for style, she is a regular contributing editor for F!D Luxe, a Dallas Morning Newspublication. Recently, one of her homes was featured in the November issue of Modern Luxury Dallas Magazine.
Reitmayer now sets out on a new adventure with SWOON, the studio aims to exceed expectations and will be an extension of all of Samantha’s talents and passions. Her work will continue down the path of all things design related such as corporate identity, environmental graphics, collateral, interactive design and social invitations but has plans to expand further into interiors, furnishings and writing all focused on style.
