Although commercial photography is the backbone of our work at PS.SWOON, we always love the opportunity to embark on something a bit different.
Each of the hotel’s redesigned rooms, slated to be unveiled later this year, will feature a large-format photograph from the series wrapped in a beautiful burl wood frame. We styled the images as a nod to the landscape, the history of the area, and Aspen’s abundant springtime flora. The pieces were lit in a way to amplify the calming feeling of the rooms’ new design features.
Collaboration is paramount at PS.SWOON and to build a still life is a beautiful practice in what it means to create rather than simply capture.
